That’s right: episodes 3 and 4 of “Enemy of the World”, episode 1 of “The Highlanders” and episode 3 of “The Wheel in space” have been found. They where returned to the BBC by an elderly ex-employee who worked as a production assistant in the late 1960s. The employee, Miss Betty Swollocks, was surprised to learn there were any missing episodes, and for more than 30 years she possessed the only known copies of the classic Partick Troughton era Doctor Who stories.
This is made up. None of it is true. Don’t believe a word of it. This is not true.
I’m interested to see if this piece of false information is
- picked up and distributed by the inhabitants of internet land, and
- if any of the above contents are distorted, mutated or otherwise changed.
So, to clarify, no missing episodes of Doctor Who have been found. None.
