They are by far the worst hosting company. They make it impossible cancel and account, and if you don’t do it correctly they will keep billing you…..

1.) You can only use one database with your package. even if you are on their max 25 dollar a month plan. So if you are planning on hosting more than one site you better be prepared to merge all your databases.

I have just found out my site hosted by 1and1.co.uk is down again. I don’t know how long it has been like, and neither do the 1and1 phone support staff. I received no apology.

The same site has been down before, from at least the 10rd of November to the 13th of November. The phone support staff were unable to give me a precise date for that either.

1and1 offer a poor service, and my advice to anyone who wishes to use it is not to bother.

Someone else thinks 1and1 aren’t very good.
